We would like to welcome our newest Air Ambulance Charity partner to the world of overseas charity challenge events – Thames Valley Air Ambulance. TVAA service communities in Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. On average 3 people every day, will find themselves in a life-threatening situation – a situation that requires urgent high quality medical treatment at the scene before they reach hospital. The TVAA team, led by a highly qualified doctor, can be there within minutes ready to deliver the same level of care that would only otherwise be found in the hospital emergency department.
A team of fundraisers will be taking on the challenge of climbing the highest free-standing mountain in the world; Mt Kilimanajro, in February 2017. If you would like to be one f the team to tackle this fantastic, life-changing challenge click on the link below;
And back big time! Today saw the launch of not one but two charity challenge portals for HIOWAA. After the massive success of 2015′s Kilimanjaro Challenge, which saw 37 climbers tackle the mountain and raise over £170,000, the at HIOWAA HQ have decided that a 3 Peaks Challenge will be there goal for 2016. There will also be a return to Tanzania in 2017 for another crack at the world’s hight free standing mountain!

18 intrepid Kiltwalkers departed Glasgow this morning on flights to Beijing! Over the next 13 days will be trekking along the Great Wall of China for a number of Scottish Children’s Charities.
Along the way they’ll encounter Old Dragon Heads, Heavenly Ladders and Towers with Nine Eyes!
