Really Wild specialise in arranging charity fundraising events – as well as unique personal challenges - in some of the world’s most exciting destinations. We pride ourselves on helping people to achieve their fundraising goals whilst enjoying a fantastic and memorable adventure in the process.
However, Really Wild is about more than just adventures. We’re very proud to be an ethical company, from our environmental policies, through to our social impact in the countries we operate in. Our unique operating model means that we don’t send staff from the UK to run our offices overseas – we employ our country managers and guides directly, providing long-term, fulfilling jobs that contribute to local economies on a more meaningful level. In addition, we work with local grassroots charities on our community challenge projects, supporting the communities in the countries we work in.
Our managers around the world work closely with each other to help ensure that all our participants take part in outstanding challenge events that they will remember for the rest of their lives – they’ve even climbed Kilimanjaro as a team!
Whether your challenge involves trekking to the Base Camp of Everest or trekking to the summit of Kilimanjaro, our mission is to promote fair employment practices, equitable wages and safe working conditions for all of our staff.
If you would like to take part in one of our challenge events, why not get in touch today and find out more about how we could help you achieve your goal.

After gaining a BA (hons) in International Development and NGO managment, Dan spent several years working for a variety of charities and living overseas, before setting up Really Wild Challenges with Charles Milton. For Dan, Really Wild Challenges is all about combining a passion for travel with a passion for fundraising for great causes, and being part of something that has a huge impact on the lives of so many people from so many different walks of life. When not overseas planning new challenges, Dan spends his spare time in the beautiful countryside around Edinburgh.

Charles fell in love with adventure travel and challenge events 8 years ago when he spent 2 months exploring the Amazon Rainforest of south Guyana. Ever since he's sought out new challenges and bumped into all the other senior partners along the way! After a BA in International Development and an MA in Globalization, Ethnicity and Culture from the University Of Sussex, Charles was determined to bring the partners together and allow others to experience once in a lifetime journeys, whilst raising huge sums of money for fantastic charities doing amazing work..

Inno runs all of Really Wild's adventure challenges in Tanzania and has been a partner since the very beginning. He was born on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, where he has lived his whole life. He has climbed Kilimanjaro more times than most people have had hot dinners, and what he doesn't know about trekking in Tanzania probably isn't worth knowing.

Jamal was born in Imlil, at the foot of Mount Toubkal and started his career in adventure travel as a mule driver in the mountains. After training at the National Centre for Guiding in the Draa Valley, Jamal started guiding trekkers around Morocco and has been doing so ever since. He's an expert on trekking in the High Atlas and the Sahara and he's not half bad at winter climbing either!

After growing up in the beautiful pine-clad foothills of the mighty Himalaya, it is not surprising that Nima turned his hand to guiding groups of visitors around the 'The Roof of the World'. He is an accomplished trekker himself and also a skilled logistics manager who seems to know just about everyone in the Khumbu region! Nima is determined to help the children in the village where he was born and was instrumental in the recent reopening of the village school, which had been closed for several years. Well done Nima!

Lodrick was born on the slopes of Kilimanjaro where he grew whilst attending the same secondary school as Innocentus. Lodrick has always been passionate about hospitality and has been a close friend since the beginning. Having worked in the tourism industry in Tanzania for more than 6-years he joined the Really Wild team in 2010 bringing his extensive skill base with him.

Murlidhar has been guiding visitors to the Indian Himalaya for the past 35 years. He lives in the picturesque mountain town of Manali, from where we base our popular Cycle India challenge, and is a well-known figure in Himachal Pradesh. Murli is an excellent skier - in fact he's so good he's competed in international competitions in China, Japan and Europe! As well as guiding treks and bike rides, Murli also leads Heliskiing expeditions in the Himalaya and in his spare time he likes nothing better than using a paraglider to soar on the thermals high above his home town!

David is a multi-sport enthusiast, dividing his time between trekking, climbing, rafting and biking. When he's not hurtling down high-altitude mountain passes or raging white-water rivers David runs Really Wild's operations in the pretty Andean mountain town of Cuzco - which is an adventure sport lovers paradise!

Jennifer runs all of our Really Wild Great Wall Treks in China. She has been working in Adventure travel for over 10 years, and has explored many parts of the Wild Great Wall. In Jennifer's spare time she enjoys cycling, horse riding, trekking, camping and is always exploring new areas.

Steph joined the Really Wild Team in 2012 and brings with her lots of hands-on group travel experience. Originally hailing from western Canada, Steph has a degree in physical education and she maintains a passion for promoting health and physical activity. She currently volunteers for a sports equality charity and proudly supports the empowerment and confidence that Really Wild’s challenges provide to all participants.

Nina is hugely enthusiastic about adventure travel and raising money for charities. After a BA Hons in History and Politics, she went on to work as an Events Manager for companies in both the public and charity sectors. Having spent four months teaching English in Nepal, quickly followed by a year studying in Canada, the excitement of travelling to new places and seeing different cultures was well and truly ignited. She is a keen outdoor enthusiast for all things mountain related – trekking in the Himalayas, and mountain biking in the Alps. In 2011 Nina became part of the Really Wild Team and is really looking forward to taking part and encouraging others to participate in all things Really Wild!

Kenny joined Really Wild in 2012 as a Challenge Event Manager. Having been born and raised in Inverness, being surrounded by mountains and wilderness is in Kenny’s blood! Whilst at University in Aberdeen, Kenny took part in two overseas challenges to Kilimanjaro, one as a participant and the other as a Group Leader, and as such is in a perfect position to advise and support our current Leaders through everything from initial recruitment, organising socials and fundraising. He got so hooked on the charity environment and overseas treks that he has now made the progression into making it his full-time occupation.

Ali joined the Really Wild team in August 2012. She brings a wealth of management and finance experience to the role and oversees the smooth running of the UK office. Having also worked in the charitable sector and being a lover of the outdoors Ali is looking forward to trying out a challenge or two!
