Everest Base Camp

Trek to EBC through the majestic peaks of the Himalaya

The Everest Base Camp trek is probably one of the most famous in the world, and one that every keen trekker should consider doing at some point in their lives. It is without doubt one of the more challenging treks to take on, but the sheer thrill and sense of achievement you experience as you arrive at the Base Camp is hard to equal.

Your journey to the Everest Base Camp (EBC) begins in Kathmandu, Nepal’s vibrant capital and takes you via twin engined plane to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region.

From here you will continue on your EBC trek into the heart of the Nepali Himalaya, taking in some spectacular scenery along the way.

The main highlight on your journey to Everest Base Camp will be the majestic snow-capped peaks that line the steep sided valleys, and the jaw-dropping views that await you at almost every turn. Few sites can compare to the Himalaya from this vantage point.

Every participant must pay their initial registration fee to Really Wild Challenges. This guarantees your place on the challenge. Participants then have two options to pay the remaining balance.

Want to go that extra mile? By raising the fundraising target, your chosen charity will pay for your place on the challenge. All you need to do is to get the funds to the charity 8-weeks prior to departure and you can rest assured the Charity will keep a minimum of 50% of what you have raised!

Pay for the full cost of the challenge yourself. If you choose to raise money in addition for charity you are free to do so. This gives you the flexibility to raise as much (or as little!) as you want. You do not have to raise money for charity if you do not wish to do so. Final payment must be with Really Wild Challenges 12-weeks prior to departure.
