A trek to the foot of the world’s highest mountain

The Everest Base Camp trek is probably one of the most famous in the world, and one that every keen trekker should consider doing at some point in their lives. It is without doubt one of the more challenging treks to take on, but the sheer thrill and sense of achievement you experience as you arrive at the Base Camp is hard to equal.

Your journey to the Everest Base Camp (EBC) begins in Kathmandu, Nepal’s vibrant capital and takes you via twin engine plane to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumba region. From here you will continue on your EBC trek into the heart of the Nepali Himalaya, taking in some spectacular scenery along the way.

The main highlight on your journey to Everest Base Camp will be the majestic snow-capped peaks that line the steep sided valleys, and the jaw-dropping views that await you at almost every turn. Few sites can compare to the Himalaya from this vantage point.

This is your registration fee. Your chosen charity will ask you to submit a minimum sponsorship amount of £2700 to secure your place. International flights are included. For Charity Deposit from Book now £295 This is the total price of your trip. It includes the £295 fee that you pay when you register for your trip. The balance of £1350 is due 8 weeks before your departure date. International flights are included. Self-Funder Price from Book now £1645 Grading The difficulty of a challenge, based upon level of fitness. Moderate, challenging or difficult.

Your EBC trek will take you through the remote valleys of the Solokhumba region to the trading posts of Lukla and Namche and onwards to the stunning views from Kala Patter before you finally reach your ultimate destination – Everest Base Camp. Remote and windswept with the massive bulk of the mighty peak towering above it, the camp is an amazing destination and completing the Everest Base Camp trek is an achievement to truly be proud of.
